Deep Sky Derelicts "Illustrious Moments" Update Now Live, Will Leave Early Access At The End Of May

Back in January, when I previewed Deep Sky Derelicts, I found it to have quite a bit of potential, provided the developers would build on what was already there. Not entirely unexpected, given it's still an Early Access title, an update was released today which is said to stretch the average game duration to nearly double than what it used to be. Dubbed "Illustrious Moments", the update raises character level cap by three (to a maximum of seven), adds five new derelicts, ten new enemies alongside more skills and mods.

The Research Workshop has also opened on Deep Sky Station, allowing for permanent energy and scanning upgrades. More derelict layouts have also been added to the game, some with multiple unlockable landing zones. You can have a look at the full announcement for the list of changes. New updates will continue to arrive, as per the established roadmap. Deep Sky Derelicts is set to release on the 31st of May 2018.
