Destiny 1.2.0 Patch Delayed

Those looking forward to the next Destiny update will have to wait a bit longer than expected. Destiny developer Bungie announced today that the planned patch will not release on schedule.

“I’ve spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago. They’re working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Profess is being made” Community Manager David Dague stated on Bungie.net.

As of now Bungie has not confirmed when the patch will release, although it’s safe to say that it’ll be available before House of Wolves launches on Tuesday.

The patch was intended to launch before the House of Wolves expansion to prepare the game for the upcoming DLC. The update mainly targets bugs and glitches but promised to increase Crucible rewards and make the Dark Below Crucible maps free in the general rotation.
