The Worldstone has been broken, and now it is up to Sanctuary's heroes to stop the ensuing terrors. Blizzard Entertainment stated today that most areas will begin receiving Diablo Immortal on June 2, with the Asia-Pacific region receiving it a few weeks later.
The most ambitious game in the Diablo franchise's 25-year history will premiere in Open Beta for Windows PC and mobile. Sanctuary's heroes may join the battle regardless of platform and can easily switch between mobile and PC gaming. All progress will be retained to conclude the Open Beta on PC, including cross-play and cross-progression.
Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment, said the game's demons are ready to be dispatched in the most expansive Diablo ever. It was crucial to us to produce an experience befitting the series, so we tested, integrated input, and built a game we're incredibly thrilled to share with gamers. "We can't wait to unleash this huge new Diablo entry and join everyone in Sanctuary."
With the destiny of Sanctuary in their hands, players may select from six Diablo classes: Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, or Wizard. They'll join new and old Diablo characters, including the franchise's patriarch Deckard Cain, on an epic mission to find the broken parts of the corrupted Worldstone before the forces of the Burning Hells collect them for their own dark intentions.
Diablo Immortal introduces a new MMOARPG (massively multiplayer online action-RPG) social experience. Players will be able to establish Warbands of up to eight individuals to take on group challenges like the Helliquary raid monsters and join Clans of up to 150 pals to win formidable Clan Achievements.
With a robust faction-based PvP system and the Cycle of Strife, players may join forces to battle for the Eternal Crown and become the commander of the Immortals. This forces them to defend their throne in various scenarios, including harsh 1v30 battles.
Diablo Immortal's primary gaming experience will always be free with optional in-game purchases. Diablo Immortal will be released for iOS, Android, and Windows PC through Battle.net. Over 30 million gamers have already pre-registered across all platforms, readying themselves for the fights. All players will get the gorgeous Horadrim Cosmetic Set when the game releases. New zones, dungeons, and character classes will be published periodically for free in the years to come.
Pre-registration is currently available at the Diablo Immortal website.
