DJ Hero to feature Daft Punk

Rolling Stone is reporting that popular electronic duo Daft Punk will be featured in the upcoming rhythm game DJ Hero.

 

The French house duo will lend their likenesses to the game, as well as contribute 11 mixes featuring their music. Players will also be able to play on the set of Daft Punk's recent tour.

 

Eight of the mixes included in DJ Hero are:

 

• Daft Punk “Around the World” vs. Young MC “Bust A Move”
• Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. NASA “Strange Enough ft. Karen O, ODB and Fatlip”
• Daft Punk “Da Funk” vs. Queen “Another One Bites the Dust”
• Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Hashim “Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)”
• Daft Punk “Robot Rock” vs. Queen “We Will Rock You”
• Daft Punk “Short Circuit” vs. Boogie Down Productions “Jack Of Spades”
• Daft Punk “Technologic” vs. Gary Numan “Cars”
• Daft Punk “Television Rules The Nation” vs. No Doubt “Hella Good” 

 

In addition to Daft Punk, DJ Hero will also feature DJ Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash. Activision's newest rhythm IP lands on store shelves Oct. 27 in two versions, a $120 standard edition and a $200 “Renegade Edition” that includes a carrying case, DJ stand and a collection of songs by hip-hop artists Jay-Z and Eminem.
