Dr. Luigi coming to the Wii U eShop

The Year of Luigi closes with one final release featuring Mario's younger brother, Dr. Luigi. Coming to the Wii U eShop on December 31, January 15 if you live in Europe, Dr. Luigi will feature 2 player online competitive modes as well as traditional Dr. Mario themed single player content.

Revealed this morning Dr. Luigi plays a lot like Dr. Mario with players attempting to match up colored capsules with color-matching viruses. The twist here is Dr. Luigi's primary mode called Operation L, which features L shaped blocks. Players will still have access to single-capsule modes that use only two colors.
