E3 2012: A Trio of Atlus Game Announcements

News by David  on  Jun 04, 2012

Atlus is slowly becoming more prolific aren’t they? The publisher has just announced three new titles at E3 right off the bat. Here they are:

Zeno Clash II (PS3, 360, PC)
The sequel to developer ACE Team’s 2009 first-person brawler will feature an open world with new weapons, items, and monsters. Zeno Clash II is also aiming to improve its melee mechanics with a “superior ‘Lock-on’ function” and “pinpoint control over where players’ strikes land.” Zeno Clash II also has a drop-in/drop-out co-op multiplayer and will arrive on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 sometime on 2013. Teaser trailer below.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (360, PS3)
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
is an upcoming adventure game being developed by Frogwares. The game’s premise puts the great detective mind in a difficult predicament. He’s accused as the main suspect in a case involving some missing priceless jewels. Expect the game to come out sometime in September on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Code of Princess (3DS)
Code of Princess
is side-scrolling beat-em-up being developed by Agatsuma Entertainment. The story stars Solange, a princess in the kingdom of Deluxia that has been invaded by goblins. Code of Princess promises to deliver an “exciting yet unconventional hardcore experience,” mixing fighting, classic arcade beat-em-up, and RPG elements together. The game will also feature up to 4 players both online and offline multiplayer, as well as co-op and versus modes. It’s expected to arrive in Fall 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS. I’ve provided ya’ll with some sweet images below.

I'm still waiting for that Persona 5 announcement, Atlus! Where is it!? I demand it! But as always, expect more gaming announcements as E3 2012 rolls on.
