FIFA 17 Making the Jump to Frostbite over Ignite

According to EA Sports FIFA 17 will be making the transistion from Ignite to Frostbite, with all future EA Sports games being developed on the Frostbite engine.

The games previously shared the same Ignite engine, which EA revealed prior to the launch of the Xbox One and PS4. The first game to make the move was Rory McIlroy PGA Tour released year.

The Frostbite engine powers almost every EA product: Dragon Age, Battlefield, Mirror's Edge, and Need for Speed.
