First Details About Kingdom Hearts Dark Road Released

There was a lot of new Kingdom Hearts news dropped today. With the remastered versions of the original games now available on Xbox One and coming to Game Pass later this month. Now, Square Enix has provided new information on the prequel mobile game Kingdom Hearts Dark Road.

Square Enix confirmed that this game will be 2 titles. KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ will be combined into KINGDOM HEARTS Uχ Dark Road. Players won;t need KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ to play Dark Road. But to complete the Medal Album, players will need to play Union X before Dark Road's release.

・This campaign will only occur once for the release of KHDR.
・Only players who have played KHUX before the release of KHDR will be eligible. Any progress made to the Album following the release of KHDR will not reward any points in KHDR.
・The Medal Album can be viewed by opening MENU > Other > Album in "KHUX".

As shown in the images above. Dark Road will follow the same gameplay and graphical look as the mobile game Union X. Which wasn't much of a hit with fans but provided vital information about the game's lore.
