Free King's Quest And New RPG Revealed!
News by Daav Daavpuke on Feb 24, 2011
You know yours truly is all about freebies. Each time, if I can make even one person happy with a free release, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And since I also enjoy gaming classics, like anyone should, passing on this next one is even more of a pleasure.

Who doesn't want tro rummage through a dirty old man's belongings?
As a parting gift from AGD Interactive, which is leaving free game development, they have announced today their undercover project of eight years. They have prepared a completely remastered version of the 1986 Sierra classic, King's Quest III Redux: To Heir Is Human, which they are handing out as a free download! Even though some of you were yet to be born, Sierra was the top contender when it came to adventures a few decades ago. The game has been completely remade with a point and click system instead of a text parser as the main upgrade. Believe me, it’s only so much fun to order a game to four-letter-word an object when one gets stuck on a puzzle over and over. But that’s not all, as the game also received a graphical update and adapted sound.

All is well in Escape From Mon...hey, wait a minute!
"We're very excited to finally release this game after developing it in secret for so long," says Chris Warren, co-founder of AGD Interactive. The bittersweet farewell gift is also used as a ploy to market the first commercial release from the developer, planned in 2012. ‘Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements’ will continue in the effort of the classical RPG appeal and will be made in association with Himalaya Studios. You can follow the details from that game and even already pre-order it here.
Now get questing! And make me feel warm and fuzzy by commenting that you are downloading the game!
