Frog Fractions Hop’s Iconic Cap Receives A Huge Update
The DLC campaign now contains 100s of hidden secrets.

Developer Twinbeard has announced that Frog Fractions has received a free update to its Hop’s Iconic Cap DLC. However, they have kept it vague about what the update fully entails, only that there are over 100 new secrets including jokes, dialogue, music, and side gameplay. There are also a number of new Steam Achievements, including 10 for the base game and 20 more strictly for the DLC.

The appeal of Frog Fractions has always been the mystery. Almost none of the fans openly talk about the game, referring to it as simply a classic math game from their past. In reality, it was a free browser game released in 2012, notorious for not being at all what it appeared. Frog Fractions 2 was seemingly developed as an alternate reality game (although even Twinbeard is unsure how to categorize it), while Frog Fractions 3 was hidden inside a completely different and legitimate full game, Glittermitten Grove. Frog Fractions later appeared for free on Steam in 2020, along with the paid Hop’s Iconic Cap DLC. While this at first presents itself as only an overpriced cosmetic, the hat eventually leads into Frog Fractions 4.
