Futuristic Armor and Prehistoric Beasts Clash in New Capcom IP, Exoprimal

Many were hoping for new information on Deep Down but instead, Capcom revealed a new IP, Exoprimal.

This cooperative adventure will mix together cooperative action with Dino Survival as players take on dinosaurs in 5v5 combat using exo-suits called Exofighters.

It’s 2040 and the planet is in crisis. Dinosaurs are appearing from thin air and laying waste to cities across the globe. Threatened by history’s deadliest creatures, the world turns to the powerful Aibius Corporation and its revolutionary technology for help. The company’s next-generation AI, Leviathan, can forecast where dinosaur outbreaks will occur and deploy Exofighters to the area. Armed with state-of-the-art mechanized combat armor known as Exosuits, these warriors represent humanity’s last hope.

Looking at the title it seems Capcom is taking reference from Anthem but hopefully this title will succeed where that game failed. After all, Capcom has a lot of experience in cooperative titles with the Monster Hunter series and Lost Planet. To give gamers a taste of what they can expect a short developer's diary was provided along with gameplay footage.
