Until the last of the monthUntil the previous to last day of the month - damn leap year – GOG.com is having an incredible sale on D&D games. People who purchase one of the many fine games on selection will also receive another game free of charge. If that’s not sufficient, every purchase will also include a free copy of Temple of Elemental Evil. This game isn’t spectacular, but it’s loyal to the D&D mechanics and a blast to play wrong, by killing quest characters and picking fights where it’s not needed.

Spot the D&D iconography.
As some may know, yours truly is quite the D&D fan. As such, it’s hard to recommend buying any one of the games on sale. So here’s a list: Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale and every Baldur’s Gate. The latter was deemed the inspiration for Dragon Age Origins, if that should bear a proper reference. But all are incredible titles with virtually endless and timeless gameplay.

In other news, GOG.com also added GSC Game World as one of their brands and has released Cossacks Anthology. With GSC added, let’s make a wild prediction: Sooner or later the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is going to be available on GOG.com. But for now, head on out and grab yourself a few hundred hours of gameplay.
