Green Day Enter Fray

Green Day are the latest casualties of the ever-growing avalanche that is the Guitar Hero / Rock Band era. The group will see their very first set of songs featured in Rock Band on July 7th via download. The songs are ‘21 Guns’, ‘Know Your Enemy’ and ‘East Jesus Nowhere’, all of which are taken from their latest album - 21st Century Breakdown.

In a recent interview with Billie Joe Armstrong, lead singer of Green Day, he spoke of his excitement at working with both MTV and Harmonix, describing them as “leaders and visionaries in the world of music and video games, and Rock Band is a really cool way for fans of all ages to experience our music.”

It is also rumoured that more of the legendary punk-rock trio’s hits will be released in the near future. Rock on.
