Guitar Hero 5 Back Tracks

Hot from the news that Rock Band will allow users to share tracks from one game to another – Guitar Hero 5 will allow users to import tracks from previous games via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

The tracks will come at a price, however, and owning or having owned previous games will be essential, because the unique ID codes that come with each game will need to be entered.

“Immediately, players can import 35 songs from Guitar Hero World Tour for 280 points on Xbox Live and $3.50 on the PlayStation Network,” said an Activision spokesman. There will also be 22 tracks from Smash Hits available, with more rumoured for a future release.

Some of the tracks from Smash Hits will include Monkey Wrench, Cult of Personality, Free Bird, No One Knows, I Wanna Rock, Woman, and many, many more.
