No tricks here; we very much have a treat for you guys with some fantastic Halloween offers to sink your cheap, plastic fangs into. So sit back, turn out the lights, and get ready to tremble with excitement at our personal picks.

 

 

We begin with Steam, who are offering some great deals on their online store, the most noteworthy of which being Borderlands at a spine-tingling 75% off. There are also great prices for Resident Evil 5, Dead Island, BioShock 2 and a host of other horror-themed titles that are sure to fulfil your every dastardly desire.

We particularly think the Paradox Interactive specials are worth a beady look-in.


Sega are at it again with more slashed prices in their latest ‘Screamtastic’ sale. You can now pick up Altered Beast for the iOS for less than a dollar, and prowl your way through each level in hairy monstrous fashion. Brick People HD, ChuChu Rocket! HD and a host of other titles are also available through iTunes.


Her Interactive are also getting in on the action by offering games from their popular Nancy Drew series at half price for a limited time only. Curse of Blackmoor Manor, Shadow at the Water’s Edge and Legend of the Crystal Skull can all be conjured for a snippet of their original price. Do you dare to play?


Next up is gog.com who have a decent selection of spooky titles, such as Psychonauts, Duke Nukem 3D and the uniquely atmospheric Alone in the Dark trilogy. Their promo lasts until midnight on October 31st so get over there and make sure to take full advantage of their 50% discount while you can.


For a more European flavour, Play.com have a horrifyingly good selection of Halloween-themed products, from games and Blu-ray’s, to an authentic-looking bottle of drinkable True Blood. Whether you’re fans of the show or not, the stormy, mysterious liquid is sure to go down a treat.


Another great site, albeit not horror-themed per say, is Indie Royale, who serve up some pretty interesting deals at seriously affordable prices. Each fortnight four lesser-known indie titles believed to be deserving of your attention are bundled together and highlighted for your gaming pleasure.
