Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Follows A Broken Celtic Warrior Through Viking Hell

Ninja Theory is a name with a good amount of resonance, at least for those who're into character action games. Names like Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West or the Devil May Cry remake can attest to that. Come August 8th, we'll have the chance to dip into yet another of their projects. This time, it's the self-published Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Described as an "independent AAA game" by the company, the title will focus on the titulary Senua, a Celtic warrior that must go through Viking Hell in order to fight for the soul of her dead lover.

Priced at 29,99 euros or your regional equivalent, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will come to the PS4 and PC. Pre-ordering the game on Steam will also get you the Hellblade: Senua's Song comic. Those who pre-order on PS4 will receive a Dynamic Theme with the burning tree scene.
