Kickstarter Launched for Shadow of the Eternals

Spirtual successor to Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

Precursor Games, the developers behind the episodic horror game and spirtual successor to Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, has launched a second way to contribute to Shadow of the Eternals through Kickstarter. This is to add to the already on-going crowd funded project that the developers launched on their own site on May 6. They seek to raise $1.35 million as the Precursor is looking for $1.5 million.

According to Precursor's site "Due to overwhelming popular demand, we are happy to announce that an official Kickstarter campaign has launched for Shadow of the Eternals.  This gives potential pledgers even more options to contribute to the game." Unlike Kickstarter you can use PayPal through Precursor's site and doesn't have a time limit.

Precursor is hoping to reach it's goal and pay for the engine and core system development, in order to release the pilot episode by Q3 2014. There will be 12 episodes in total and will be "significantly cheaper and faster to produce". Any additional money received will be used to to add in-game add-ons such as gaming platforms and "other surprises".
