Latest Metal Gear Solid V Patch Revives Fallen Ally

The latest patch for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Version 1.06, has just been released and while it adds a bunch of new features the most important change comes from the reintroduction of Quiet.

For those who don’t know during the game Quiet sacrifices herself to save Big Boss by speaking English and activating the Vocal Chord Parasites within her. This forces Quiet to abandon Mother Base in order to save the world from becoming infected.

By replaying Mission 11: CLOAKED IN SILENCE players can reunite with the deadly assassin. You’ll have to replay the mission several times before the prompt [REUNION] CLOAKED IN SILENCE appears in the mission description. Quiet will return to Mother Base and become available as a buddy option, provided you didn’t kill her.

Other patch notes include:

- New Look for PF Rating 

- Grade 8 Level Gear and New Online Development Items

- New Security Devices for FOBs invasions

- “Anti-Reflex Research” added as Medical Team unit function

- “Stealth Mode” will now have an effect in FOB infiltrations causing your predicted field of movement to disappear from defending player’s iDriod 

- FOB Option 3 Rookie and Beginner Functions, giving players easier access to the Chicken Hat and Lil Chick Hat.

- Top Rankings for PF Rating and Espionage will now be displayed

- Online and offline resources can be sold In-game notifications of events and other news have been improved.
