Microsoft Not Planning to Repurchase Digital Games Anytime Soon Despite Survey

Microsoft’s survey about customer’s interested in selling back their digital games is nothing to be excited about.

Head of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, stated that nothing is planned and was even surprised that a survey was released.

“Yeah we are not actively planning such as thing, surprised it was even asked in a survey.”

When the survey was released on Monday it hinted that Microsoft would purchase back digital games at $10 their original price, well below the trade value offered at GameStop or Best Buy. But considering that these are digitally purchases, not physical copies, Microsoft wouldn’t given more reasons to purchase games through the Xbox Live Marketplace.
