More Differences Between Fire Emblem If Versions Surface
Vast differences between Fire Emblem If's versions continue to be revealed.
Fire Emblem: If has already sparked fan's interest by having two separate games in the works with two separate storyline, but judging by the newly released information it looks like the fan divide will increase. As if it wasn't hard enough being a newer fan of the Fire Emblem series, it looks like the two different versions will have a divide on difficulty as well. One version will be harder than the other on top of having different starting points, giving the player two unique experiences.

Now, a common complaint of something like Pokémon is the fact that you have to buy both games to catch them all, unless you find someone willing to trade you most of the Pokémon. In this, there's a DLC to unlock the other path in the game, so you'll have an option to pick the different story paths as well as a mysterious third story also coming out as DLC. According to Go Nintendo:
“-The story isn't the only difference between the two versions, White Kingdom and Black Kingdom. White is for those who are new to the series, while Black Kingdom is far more difficult, with limited money and experience points, as well as tougher objective goals.
-The initial storyline will be the same, but at some point in the games they will branch off into different directions
-Directors want to allow the players to decided what allies they want to take up, providing the element of "If", the game's subtitle in Japan.
-White Kingdom will start you in the hometown you were born in while Black Kingdom will have you be part of the country where you were raised.
-Digital selling method will be different. The digital version will allow you to play until chapter 5, where you will be made to either go the White Kingdom route or the Black Kingdom path. You can purchase the other route via DLC, which is also allowable in the retail versions of the game.
-There will be a third storyline in the game that is exclusively DLC.”
More will be updated as the news of the game progresses.
