Need for Speed Heat Will Not Include Loots Boxes But Will Feature "Time-Save" DLC

Loot boxes have become the primary target for many gamers as one of the most insidious inclusions into premium games. EA is one of the publishers that include this hated feature in all their premium games and Need for Speed Payback was heavily criticized for this and many thought the same would happen with Need for Speed Heat but EA confirmed on Reddit the game will not include loot boxes.

Community manager Ben Walke made the announcement public but did disclose that "car packs" and "time-save pack" will be sold post-launch. The time saver packs will feature collectables on the map, a similar feature found in Assassin's Creed Odyssey with experience boosters and premium weapons.

Most gamers will feel disappointed with this feature as it does have troublesome implecations. Selling cheats that allow easier access to specific content. Capcom did a similar thing with Resident Evil 2 2019 where the player can unlock everything by purchasing it.

Need for Speed Heat launches on November 8 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
