New details about Tekken Tag Tournament 2

The new weekly issue of Famitsu magazine promises to reveal much information about Tekken Tag Tournament 2.Additionally, Famitsu also shows the return of six characters: Heihachi Mishima, Jin Kazama, Jinpachi Mishima, AAUK Kazama, Martial Law and Michael. Heihachi, as many already know, is old in Tekken 6, but managed to return to youth in Tag Tournament 2 through some kind of research.





The gameplay of the new title looks quite promising. Remembering what is experienced in the first Tag Tournament, the player has the opportunity to choose two characters to fight. You can switch between them during combat, even between movements to perform combos together. The novelty? The trowing system, which literally allows a cooperative system.


Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released only in arcades - for now - of Japanese territory in Q2 2011. There is still no official release date planned in other territories nor platforms.
