New Pokémon Black/White footage reveals battle scene, starter Pokémon

The exposure of 100+ new Pokémon to catch and a new region to explore is always to be expected with each passing generation. And if you still haven’t grown out of the habit of capturing, training, and battling those oh-so-adorable pocket monsters with supernatural powers, a string of Pokémon Black/White demos might just be worth your while.
This video, taken from the Japanese TV show, Pokémon Sunday gives you a first glimpse of the battle system of Pokémon Black/White, which includes the revelation of the latest starter Pokémon, playable trainers, and the newest region called Isshu.
The video also features footage from past Pokémon games, from FireRed/LeafGreen to the recently released remakes of the second generation; HeartGold/SoulSilver for the Nintendo DS last March. It also contained a snippet from the latest Pokémon movie, Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark, which initially revealed the first Pokémon of Generation V; Zorua and its evolved form, Zoroark.
So far, no additional details have been leaked about the latest region, but more details are to be expected in the near future. With the addition of a new, isometric look during exploration and more Pokémon movement animations during battle, it seems Nintendo aims to change the way we view and play one of their most beloved franchises.
