Niantic Adds Celebi Gear to Pokemon Go Store

Niantic has confirmed they've begun the Special Research towards earning a Celebi in Pokemon Go.  In addition, new gear has been added to showcase your love for the Mythical Psychic-Grass Pokemon with gear.

On the Pokemon Go store, players can purchase a free Celebi T-shirt, Pokemon HeartGold, and SoulSilver trainer items, and outfits linked to your Johto medal progress.

Capturing Legendary Pokemon is one of the most popular features in Pokemon Go. A solid release of limited timed events have kept the fanbase occupied and once PvP launches you can expect a lot more people looking at their phones.

Pokemon Go is now available for iOS and Android devices.
