Octopath Traveler is a Massive Success, Shipped Over One Million Copies Worldwide

Square Enix has revealed today on its JP Twitter account that Octopath Traveler has passed the 1 million sale mark.

This isn't sales but shipped and digital downloads. Considering that the game is nearly impossible to find in JP many of those downloads are probably from there. Regardless this is a massive achievement for the new IP. Showing that the demand for JRPG games is still high.

Octopath Traveler is now available for Nintendo Switch.
