Parasite Eve PSN Soon?

Ever since the introduction of PSOne Classics there’s one title that everyone has wanted a second bite at and that’s Parasite Eve, a killer RPG with survival horror elements. Now that chance may finally have come, after The 3rd Birthday director Hajime Tabata let slip through his Twitter account that Square Enix are currently “making adjustments” in order to have Parasite Eve and its sequel release on the PlayStation Network.

Perhaps after being bombarded with questions from eager fans he Tweeted afterwards “Please wait until it has been finalized and formally announced,” which I imagine won’t stop the anticipation of a pending release from spreading like wildfire.

The 3rd Birthday, which will act as the third installment to the Parasite Eve series, will be released December 22 in Japan exclusively for PlayStation Portable, and will then become available to the rest of the world sometime in 2011. Players will resume the role of Aya Brea, in her quest to save mankind once again.
