Pirates Pillage DSi

There were various quotes floating around from various Nintendo Spokespeople leading up to the launch of their latest handheld – The DSi, and a lot of them were focused on the fact that their device was impregnable. Sadly though, in the current world we live in no form of technology is safe from pirates. Everything is hackable; it’s not a case of if, but when and his latest piece of hardware is no exception.

Pirated games are already spreading like wildfire and even with the firmware updates that Nintendo have provided and plan to provide more of further into its lifecycle; there are obviously still ways around it. It’s obviously a huge problem for the company, with some gamers able to get their hands on literally hundreds of games on the one cartridge, and I guess Nintendo will continue to work hard in an attempt to prevent such things in the future.
