PlatinumGames is Interested in Finishing Scalebound if Microsoft Allows it
Scalebound is possible

Scalebound cancelation was heartbreaking for many gamers. The Microsoft exclusive title was canceled back in 2017 and in 2019 information was provided by Atsushi Inaba that both Microsoft and PlatinumGames were at fault for the project's end. But PlatinumGames is still interested in finishing Scalebound.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Platinum’s Atsushi Inaba was asked about Scalebound and said, “Again, it’s a good question! But this was an intellectual property that belongs 100% to Microsoft,” Inaba made clear.
Microsoft could revive the IP for the Xbox Series X or PlatinumGames could purchase the IP from Microsoft. Remedy Entertainment purchased Alan Wake from Microsoft before Control's launch. And PlatinumGames has stated they're interested in owning all the IPs they created. Anything is possible.
Recently, PlatinumGames did host a successful Kickstarter, that's still going on, for The Wonderful 101 Remastered. The project has exceeded $800,000 in donations and continues tor rise.
