PlayStation Classic Discounted Heavily

Sony may have published some amazing games this year such as God of War, Detroit: Become Human, and Marvel's Spider-Man but one of the company's biggest flops is the PlayStation Classic. A classic modeled PlayStation system, capitalizing on Nintendo's successful line of classic systems, that featured poor emulators and a lackluster collection of games. Now the system has been drastically reduced in price, with most retailers selling them for $59.99.

In comparison, the system originally launched this month for $99.99 which is a massive drop. It's likely that retailers are trying to push the product out the door before the end of the holiday season. This isn't a surprise as I purchased this system and found it disappointing, choosing to disconnect the system and instead use my original PS3 to play my classic PS1 games available on the PlayStation Classic instead.

If you rather get the NES or SNES Classics you have until this holiday season to get one since they've been discontinued.
