Pokémon Gold and Silver Now Available for 3DS

Pokémon Gold and Silver Now Available for 3DS has finally arrived on the 3DS.

This version of the game will support local wireless battles and trading. Both games support the Pokémon bank, allowing gamers to trade Pokémon from Gold and Silver into Sun and Moon and the upcoming Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun. Additionally, players can use the Time Capsule feature to transfer Pokémon from Red, Blue, and Yellow versions. 

Pokémon Gold and Silver released back in 2000 and were sequels to Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Players were given the chance to experience the Jhoto and Kanto regions after the events of the first game.

In the original games, players could use the Gameboy Color to expand the palette of colors on screen or play on the original Gameboy systems.

Pokémon Gold and Silver are priced at $9.99 on the 3DS Virtual Console store.
