The next Pokémon Sun and Moon global challenge will focus on defeating Pokémon instead of capturing them.
Pokémon Sun and Moon players must work together to defeat 1 million Pokémon using the Island Scan feature. The mission will begin December 27th, 2016 and run until January 9th, 2017. Those who participate will receive 2,017 Festival Coins if they don't have a global link account, those with an account will get 4,035. If failed players will only get 217 FC for non-account holders and 434 FC for account holders.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is now available for 3DS.
