New update in Rainbow Six Siege fights against toxic gamers

Developers and publishers are waging war against toxic gamers to ensure by establishing a new alliance and procedures to combat this growing problem. Recently, Ubisoft set into motion new steps to battle toxicity in Rainbow Six Siege.

Ubisoft is tracking chat of players for any "language or content deemed illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment is forbidden.” With bans ranging from 2 days to permanent depending on the severity.

Ubisoft stated they're working on new methods to give players control over who they want to communicate with through voice, text, or both along with chat filtering.

Ubisoft also touched on team killing. Stating they're aware that some players "slip through the cracks" of their current detection system. But they're working on new ways to combat this issue.

Rainbow Six Siege is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
