Ratchet & Clank launch a full frontal assault on PSN this fall

Insomniac Games announced through the PlayStation Blog today that, to accompany the release of the Ratchet & Clank HD Colletion this fall in commemeration of the series' 10th anniversary, a new installment will also be arriving through PSN this fall.

Titled, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, returning the series to its double-entandra subtitle roots, will be a smaller, "fun-sized" entry in the series, said CEO of Insomniac Games Ted Price. Presumably, that means it'll be like 2008's Quest for Booty, another PSN Ratchet & Clank release.



Price says the game will return to the classic style of Ratchet games past, no doubt assuring it won't be in the vein of last year's cooperatively focused All 4 One. Price did, however, allude to some form of multiplayer being included (two-player co-op, maybe?). Though no other gameplay details were given.

Both Full Frontal Assault and the HD Collection will land this fall.
