Resident Evil Will Get TV Shows

According to Martin Moskowicz, Constantin Film's studio executive, the Resident Evil franchise, one of the most emblematic of the survival-horror and zombie genres, will get its very own TV series. The executive mentioned that the studio will be working on various film-to-tv-spinoffs and, even, shows based on the books Perfume and the Mortal Instrument.

The newly confirmed series are intended to be released following the latest installment of the film series, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which is scheduled to start filming during 2015. There is no information on how many TV series will be created or if, in any case, would interact with each other.
