Resurgence Pack Coming to PSN, PC in July

Modern Warfare 2 players on the Playstation 3 and the PC won't have to wait much longer for their chance to play the Resurgence Map pack. Infinity Ward staffer Robert Bowling tweeted today that the downloadable content will hit the North American Playstation Network and PCs worldwide on July 6. Playstation gamers in Europe will have to wait a day later.

 

The "new" map pack was released on the Xbox 360 in early June for $15, and will retail for the PC and Playstation at the same price. The map pack contains five maps - two Call of Duty "originals," Strike and Vacant, as well as three all-new maps titled Carnival, Trailer Park, and Fuel. Both platforms will also have an opportunity to receive double experience for a limited amount of time corresponding with the map pack's release, but the event's start and end date have yet to be announced.
