Rocket League Autumn Update Coming Soon

Developer Psyonix has announced 2 new updates for Rocket League coming this year. The first one being the Autumn Update will launch on September 28th with another update coming afterward.

The Autumn update will include 5 variants of existing areas. These include Starbase Arc, Wasteland, Champions Day (Day), Mannfield (Snowy), and DFH Stadium (Day). In addition, a new seasonal arena called Farmstead will be added to competitive, casual, and private matches for a limited of time. It features a tranquil rural farm during harvest time. 

Other additions include:

Decryptors - These unlock any crate
Ongoing Events 
Accelerator Crate
Rare - Pearlescent Matte Paint Finish
Very Rare - Hot Rocks Trail
Import - Power-Shot Boost
Exotic - Chrono Wheels
Over 90 new items
Black Market - Popcorn Goal Explosion
New Battle-Car Jager 619 RS
New Player Banners - Appear during replays and post-game celebrations
Revamped In-Game Blog

Psyonix announced that Director Mode has a beta mode, offering new ways to spectate matches. 

Another update is planned to release after the September 28th Autumn update. This includes a Tournament Beta, Party System, and Events. 

Rocket League is now available for Xbox One, PS4, Windows 10, Mac, and Linux. The Nintendo Switch version is set to release this Holiday season.
