Rocket League Getting Cross-Platform Play This Year
Play with people on other platforms this year

Rocket League developer Psyonix has been keen on delivering cross-platform play to the game and looks like it's happening this year.

On Twitter the company stated:
Hey there! We’re actively working on cross-platform party support for a 2018 release. :)
Unfortunately, the company couldn't give specifics on it. Currently, Microsoft and Nintendo are on board of bridging players from both platforms but Sony has been more reluctant. Perhaps they've changed their minds.
Rocket League is now available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux.
