Sonic Colors: Ultimate's release has not been met with wide praise. Those who played the original noticed major issues compared to the Wii exclusive. Things such as audio issues and coloration problems. The biggest issue came with the Switch version which had a glitch that messed up the colors and could cause seizures. This has now been resolved.
Hi everyone – We have deployed a patch for the Nintendo Switch for Sonic Colors: Ultimate. This is the first of several patches (for all platforms!) that will begin rolling out in the near future. Thank you for your patience!

SEGA issued a notice that more patches are on the way for Sonic Colors: Ultimate. I would recommend players avoid the Switch version of the game for now and if you want to play the game now get it on any other platform.
Sonic Colors: Ultimate is now available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
