Sega's Project Needlemouse is Sonic 4

Sega has announced the long-awaited Sonic the Hedgehog 4, a direct sequel to the classic platforming games from the early '90s.
Formerly carrying the moniker "Project Needlemouse," Sonic's first classic adventure in more than 15 years will be episodic, with the first episode expected to be released in the summer.
Releasing for all major consoles, it will also have support for motion controls on Wii and PS3.
There is no set price or release date yet, so stay tuned to NoobFeed for the latest on the blue blur's return to 2D.
