Setsuka Returns In Soulcalibur 6

Namco Bandai has announced the latest addition to the Soulcalibur 6 season pass, the return of veteran character Setsuka. As with previous installments, Setsuka fights with a blade hidden inside a parasol and seeks vengeance against main character Mitsurugi for allegedly killing her master. Setsuka was one of the few characters absent from Soulcalibur 5 and didn’t receive a replacement with a similar sighting style. Other characters retired in Soulcalibur 5 included Talim and Zasalamel, but of whom became part of Soulcalibur 6’s base roster.

 

Launching the same day will be a new character creation pack, featuring clothing mostly from the Tekken series that will allow players to dress up as Heihachi Mishima. Additionally, all players will receive Setsuka’s previous outfit for free for use in character creation, along with the Murakuma Shrine Grounds stage, new story content staring Groh, and balance adjustments.

Setsuka is the third character in season two, following Hilde and Haohmaru from Samurai Shodown. Those that purchased the full pass will have access to a fourth unannounced character.
