Shaun White Skateboarding announced

Shaun White is very well-known for his awesome snowboarding skills. If you missed this year’s Winter Olympics, he won a gold medal, and broke his own record on the men’s halfpipe event. In case you’re wondering why I brought this up, you start to wonder how Ubisoft, one of White’s endorsers, will capitalize on that talent; make more snowboarding games based on--none other than--the Flying Tomato himself?

 

Surprisingly though, Ubisoft is more interested in taking the athlete’s snowboarding series in an interestingly different course; with Shaun White Skateboarding.

                                                        

The game will most likely launch in Winter, and will be competing with Electronic Arts’ Skate and Activision’s Tony Hawk franchises; both have sequels due out this year as well. It is unknown if Shaun White Skateboarding will go multiplatform or remain a Wii exclusive; the last Shaun White game was only available on the Nintendo console.

 

Fun Fact: Shaun White is also skilled at skateboarding, and the first ever athlete to win gold medals in both the Summer and Winter X Games. It makes sense that he has his own skateboarding game, no?
