Skyward Sword Gets Limited Goodies

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is most definitely the most anticipated game for the Wii in 2011, and not only because it's the only one North Americans will be able to experience. The game promises to revolutionize the franchise, and from what has been shown, it seems like it's keeping its word. Not only that, but the game launches on Zelda's 25th anniversary, an admirable milestone for a videogame franchise.

 

Nintendo knows how important their second biggest franchise is, so they're making sure everything is done right. To celebrate the anniversary, Skyward Sword will have a special limited edition with a golden Wii Remote Plus (a Wiimote with the MotionPlus capabilities built-in, something necessary in order to play Skyward Sword).

 

It's so... pretty.

 

Did you notice that other disk? Did you read what it says? Yep, early buyers of either the limited edition or the standard one will be rewarded with a CD with orchestrated tracks of the series' famous songs, performed by the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Orchestra (yes, they have an orchestra solely for the anniversary). So even if you're crawling with Wiimotes already, or somehow doesn't think it's worth the extra money, you'll still be rewarded if you purchase Skyward Sword early.

 

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword comes out on November 20th for US$49,99. The limited edition, which includes the golden Wii Remote, will cost US$69,99.
