Some Details About Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
News by Marco Cecilio on Apr 10, 2011
Although November seems far away, the Official UK PlayStation Magazine has brought some interesting news about the third title in the multimillion-dollar franchise that brought you Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter. According to the magazine, Naughty Dog is working hard to provide a realistic, scenario-based experience.

The developer’s proposal is to create a desert with life. The sand movement, for example, can create everything from storms to alter the geography of the place, causing dunes to appear and disappear as you walk. Furthermore, mirages are also present. However, the drought should not be the only challenge faced by Drake.
As already announced beforehand, the magazine said Drake will travel to various parts of the globe, including London and forest landscapes. Moreover, it was reported that Drake's Deception allows players to control vehicles at various points of the adventure. The publication states that you can also ride bikes.

As for the plot, the Official PlayStation Magazine has brought some unprecedented details. After commenting on the connection with Lawrence of Arabia, it was announced that the villain Katherine Marlowe is part of a secret order that originated in the time of Queen Elizabeth I. It is possible that characters of previous titles games will also return in the third game, as Naughty Dog has confirmed the possibility. That made the fans starting rumors about Elena's eventual return.
Finally, we have the most important fact: Uncharted 3 may not be the last of the franchise. The developer made a point of telling the magazine that at no time mentioned that the Drake's saga would be a trilogy. Is this the confirmation from the studio about possible sequels? We’ll see.
