Sony Celebrates 20 Years of Ape Escape

Recently, a new Ape Escape Twitter account surfaced. With many assuming Sony has greenlit a new game and with a new 20th anniversary those flames just got hotter.

The video is in Japanese but features the insanity that comes from the Ape Escape franchise. With gameplay footage from various games in the series. We see Spike attempting to capture the Apes in the first game to prevent time from being altered.

The last mainline entry was Ape Escape 3 that was re-rated for the PS4 back in 2016, which gave people hope for a remake. Unfortunately, that never happened. Or it could be happening.
