Square Enix Warns Fans Playing Balan Wonderworld Without Day 1 Patch Could Cause Epilepsy

Balan Wonderworld is now available but Square Enix is warning players to download the day 1 patch before launching the game. Since reports have been provided about photo-sensitive epilepsy risk due to a flashing bug.

Please ensure that you install the Day 1 Patch before playing.

We have received reports of a photo-sensitive epilepsy risk from a potential flashing bug if playing the game un-patched.

The Day 1 Patch prevents this issue as well as enhances the overall play experience.

Modern games usually download the latest patch for a game immediately but this can be avoided by not going online.

Balan Wonderworld is now available for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch.
