Steam Summer Sale Round-up for July 9

The Steam summer sale is almost over, but today still has a few interesting offers, although it seems like the summercamp spectacle has been past its prime for a couple of days now.

Much like the previous sale day, July 9th sees some pretty big titles going on sale. The Dead Space games, Duke Nukem Forever and Portal 2* have all gone down in price, while all Hitman and Prince of Persia games are 75% off for the day. Especially Hitman Absolution at €2,50 might be worth a try, although it is by no means a monumental game.

 

The Sam & Max franchise has also gone down 75%, while PAM (Post-Apocalyptic Mayhem), a racing/car combat game can be picked up for €2,50. Strategy freaks may be interested in Supreme Commander 2 for 5 euros, although I didn't think the first game was all that special, not to mention that the retail versions of any game in this franchise are widespread and attractively priced already.

Terraria seems to be quite popular despite it reportedly being a Minecraft rip-off (although I can't confirm this), and at €2,50, it might be worth checking out.

*If you're planning on getting both Portal games today, mind that it's actually cheaper to buy the games separately than to buy the pack.
