Street Fighter vs. Tekken

Street Fighter and Tekken – along with Mortal Kombat – have dominated the fighting genre for quite some time now, and many an argument has broke out about which fighting line-up is stronger and which game is better overall. Now we will finally have the chance to take things into our own hands and prove it once and for all.

        
                                      Just a taste of thing's to come

The games will be split into two and developed by Capcom and Namco separately, so expect two titles with very different gaming mechanics and unique feels. The first will be Street Fighter X Tekken (Capcom), followed by Tekken X Street Fighter (Namco). The only bad news is that we’ll have to wait until 2012 to play them, and will be available on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I can visualize internet fights breaking out now, over who will win, Ling Xiaoyu or Chun Li, and I’m sure there’ll be a ton of artwork to accompany it.
