Update Ver.1.1.1. is now available and you can use the controller on Super Mario 64.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars has had its fair share of criticism such as releasing as a limited-time product and being poor emulations of the original games. Something that Nintendo fights against aggressively. There have been many videos on YouTube comparing the products and how modders have implemented quality-of-life improvements to these classic games such as hi-resolution, wide-screen support, and improved frame-rate.
