Super Mario 64 Online Fan Project Lets You Play the N64 Classic with Friends

Super Mario 64, arguably one of the best platformers ever made, just got an upgrade thanks to the fanbase. Called Super Mario 64 Online players can now play online with friends using various characters from the Mushroom Kingdom.

However, you should download this asap. Like we've seen with Pokemon Uranium and AM2R it won't be long before Nintendo's lawyers file a DMCA order and get the game removed. You can download the game here and a video tutorial is available on how to make it work.

Super Mario 64 launched on the Nintendo 64 back on June 23nd, 1996 to massive acclaim from critics and fans alike. Mario's next big adventure, Super Mario Odyssey, launches on October 27th for the Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Direct announcement is coming this week explaining more on Mario's latest adventure and upcoming 3DS and Nintendo Switch games.
