Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Has the Highest Pre-Sales in Series’ History

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the final big releases for 2018 and the pre-orders are stacking, with the 5th entry of becoming the most pre-ordered game in the series.

This shouldn't come as a surprise considering the Nintendo Switch's popularity and the game coming out in a generally relaxed time where not a lot of big releases are coming out. It also helps that  Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes every character from the franchise including some new ones like Ridley from Metroid and the Splatoon girl and boy.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases on December 7th for Nintendo Switch.
